Remote Education from September 2020 onwards
 

On this page, you will find plans for the provision of remote education which will ensure that any pupils who need to be educated at home due to self-isolation are given the support they need to continue learning.

Remote education will be of a high quality and will align as closely as possible with in-school provision.

All learning will be conducted using the Class Dojo or Microsoft Teams. This will allow staff to keep in daily contact in a professional and confidential manner with their class.

White Rose Maths
We follow White Rose Maths in school and they are producing many home learning materials that run alongside the scheme that we are following. If remote learning is required the teacher will let you know which lesson you'd need to look at with your child.

Phonics Videos
We follow Read Write Inc for teaching phonics in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Videos have been produced that teach phonics lessons.

Oak Academy
Oak National Academy has been set up to produce a full curriculum with linked videos that can be used at home. In the event of remote education being required teachers will provide you with links to the relevant Oak Academy lessons to use with your children that match to the curriculum being taught in school.
